General Requirements

Professional qualification

  • (i) Diving Certificate for the class of Advanced SCUBA Diver or above issued by the National Association of Underwater Instructors of the United States of America; or (ii) Diving Certificate approved by the Health and Safety Executive of the United Kingdom; or; (iii) Diving Certificate issued by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China or equivalent; and (iv) should be certified by a registered medical practitioner to be medically fit to dive; and (v) must be registered as Construction Worker and holder of Green Card when working on construction sites (You may visit Construction Industry Council website for registration details)

Work Environment

  • Divers (Construction) usually work underwater performing physically demanding tasks, such as inspecting, constructing, repairing and demolishing construction structure (with the use of standard diving dress and breathing apparatus).
