Descriptions & Duties
- Curtain Wall Designers are responsible for the creation or creative work of decorative wall and building curtain walls, and the drawings of curtain walls or decorative walls.
Main duties:
1. According to the requirements of the building and architect on the styles, research and formulate the system design, style, structure and division method on the building curtain wall, and determine the relevant materials, cost and construction time;
2. Organise technical data on structure, mechanics, materials, thermal engineering, optics, acoustics, etc., and draw architectural curtain wall design drawings;
3. Design the curtain wall component production and plate assembly process and the molds, design the inspection, test and acceptance criteria for the curtain wall component production and plate assembly process;
4. Organise and design the installation method and process of the building curtain wall to facilitate the construction and the safety of the curtain wall;
5. Develop an inspection plan for building curtain wall products, direct and inspect the curtain wall construction.
