- Costs Estimators prepare estimates of the cost of producing jobs according to agreed specifications and methods of production and maintain production records. They record the actual costs involved (material and labour) of jobs completed or in progress. In addition to updating budget centre rates, labour rates and all variable cost factors regularly, Costs Estimators have to prepare periodic financial statements to the management.
