Descriptions & Duties

  • Cybersecurity Architects design, implement, and oversee all aspects of an organisation's cybersecurity strategy. They establish policies and procedures to achieve an optimal level of IT risk management and security. They conduct regular security architecture reviews to identify potential gaps and weaknesses, assess the effectiveness of existing security measures, and recommend appropriate measures to meet security acceptance criteria.

Cybersecurity Architects possess the ability to analyse and identify security risks, and investigate, evaluate and reach appropriate conclusions/solutions to protect against future attacks.

Cybersecurity Architects possess good communication skills to work with other members of the IT team to identify and assess security risks and develop plans and strategies to mitigate those risks.

Technical skills

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • A recongised higher diploma or bachelor's degree, typically in computer science, information management, software engineering, or a related field

Professional qualification

  • Professional qualifications in information security and/or security certifications holder would be an advantage
