General Requirements
Academic qualification
Normally have a bachelor's degree in building services/ electrical/ mechanical engineering related discipline. Holders of relevant higher diplomas can articulate to related degree programmes.
Professional qualification
Registered Lift/ Escalator Engineers (You may visit Electrical and Mechanical Services Department website for registration details) Corporate membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) in Electrical/ Electronic/ Building Services Engineering Discipline, or equivalent
