General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • Completion of relevant training courses, or an apprenticeship in the trade of Lift Electrician or Lift Mechanic, or equivalent

Professional qualification

  • Registered Lift/ Escalator Workers (You may visit Electrical and Mechanical Services Department website for registration details)

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experiences

Work Environment

  • Lift/ Escalator Mechanics normally work in building or construction sites and do strenuous physical work. They may be exposed to heights in elevator shafts and should follow precautions and wear protective equipment.
