Descriptions & Duties

  • Aircraft Maintenance Technicians carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in a professional manner and certifies his/her own work within the scope of the approval under minimum supervision. They perform diagnostic evaluations of equipment and maintenance works to ensure quality delivery of services and supervisory duties. They ensure work is accomplished in accordance with the procedures and is progressively signed off.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • A diploma or higher diploma, preferably in aircraft maintenance, engineering or equivalent

Professional qualification

  • Professional qualification issued by an aviation authority e.g. Aircraft Maintenance Licence, Aircraft Mechanic Licence, Aircraft Mechanic's Certificate, etc. are preferable

Experience

  • usually substantial experience in aircraft maintenance is an advantage
