To lead surveying projects, Land Surveyors must manage projects from start to finish. They must coordinate effectively with different professionals and clients and have to make choices to ensure that the projects are well completed on time and within budget.
Land Surveyors must always apply professional knowledge and skills in relation to land surveying to solve issues and problems at work.
Academic qualification
normally have a higher diploma or a bachelor's degree in surveying, or related discipline
Professional qualification
generally are registered professional surveyors under the Surveyors Registration Ordinance; usually are corporate members of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Experience
usually 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience is required
