To lead architectural design projects, Architects must manage projects from start to finish. They must coordinate effectively with different professionals and clients and have to make choices to ensure that the projects are well completed on time and within budget.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • normally have a bachelor's degree in architecture, or related disciplines

Professional qualification

  • generally are registered architects in Hong Kong under the Architects Registration Ordinance; and usually are members of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects

Experience

  • usually 5 to 8 years of working experience in residential, retail and commercial projects are required
