To lead landscape architectural design projects, Landscape Architects must manage projects from start to finish. They must coordinate effectively with different professionals and clients and have to make choices to ensure that the projects are well completed on time and within budget.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • Normally have a bachelor's degree or master's degree in landscape architecture.  Holders of relevant higher diplomas can articulate to related degree programmes.

Professional qualification

  • generally are registered landscape architects under the Landscape Architects Registration Ordinance; and usually are members of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects

Experience

  • usually 5 to 8 years of working experience in landscape architectural discipline, either from consultant or developers is required
