Mechanical Fitters need to operate machinery. They must be comfortable working with machines and have a good understanding of how the machines work.

Mechanical Fitters should understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications so that they can manufacture machine parts properly.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • Completion of relevant training courses, or an apprenticeship in the trade of Fitter, or equivalent

Professional qualification

  • Registered as Construction Worker and holders of Green Card when working on construction sites (You may visit Construction Industry Council website for registration details).

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experiences
