Trade Specific Competencies

Knowledge in communication and media

Media Presenters should know about broadcast journalism, media production, communication, media ethics and editorial writing. He/She would require good reporting skills and excellent oral and communication skills in order to carry out duties in a tight schedule such as presenting news stories or covering breaking news.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • generally have a bachelor's degree in journalism, media, communications, business administration, finance, economics, translation or related disciplines

Experience

  • at least 2 to 5 years' relevant experience

Other specific requirements

  • Familiar with and sensitive to financial news and current affairs; Work under pressure and tight timeline
