General Requirements
Academic qualification
- (i) completion of relevant training courses is an advantage; or (ii) holders of Intermediate Trade Test Certificate or Trade Test Certificate for Painters and Decorators are preferable; (iii) holders of certificate of completion of an apprenticeship in the trade of painter/ decorator/ sign writer are preferable; (iv) holders of Trade Test Certificate for Painters and Decorators (Roller Painting)/ (Surface Filling)/ (Emulsion Painting)/ (Brushing Lacquering)/ (Synthetic Painting)/ (Clear Lacquering)/ (Texture-spray)/ (Metal Paint Spray)/ (Paperhanging)/ (Sign Writing) or equivalent are preferable.
Professional qualification
- must be registered as Construction Worker and holders of Green Card when working on construction sites (You may visit Construction Industry Council website for registration details)
