  • Plasterers apply coats of plaster to, and render walls and ceilings, to produce finished surfaces. They are also responsible for screening floors, staircases and roofs.

Plasterers must always apply professional knowledge and skills in plastering to complete their tasks at work.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • (i) completion of relevant training course is an advantage; or (ii) holders of Intermediate Trade Test Certificate or Trade Test Certificate for Plasterers or Plasterers (Floors) are preferable; (iii) holders of Certificate of completion of an apprenticeship in the trade of plasterer or equivalent is preferable.

Professional qualification

  • must be registered as Construction Worker and holders of Green Card when working on construction sites (You may visit Construction Industry Council website for registration details)
