Tax Managers

Descriptions & Duties

  • Tax Managers supervise a team of staff to provide tax advisory services to clients and help clients to comply with their tax compliance obligations. They review the tax computation and completion of tax returns. Tax Managers handle special tax matters. They advise clients on tax planning and other tax issues. Tax Managers render assistance to partners on training, overall evaluation and counselling of staff members. They allocate and co-ordinate assignments among team members.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • A recognised bachelor's degree in accountancy

Professional qualification

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, or equivalent

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of tax experience

Related Education & Training

Work Environment

  • Tax Managers work primarily in offices and work regular office hours. They may work additional hours to meet deadlines, for example, at the end of fiscal year, during tax time.
