Transport Inspectors must always apply professional knowledge and skills in transport to solve issues and problems at work. They must be able to conduct on-site investigations, on-board surveys on various land and sea transport modes and roadside surveys.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • Completion of Secondary school education

Experience

  • 1-2 years' relevant working experience are preferable

Work Environment

  • Transport Inspectors work irregular hours, overnight, under adverse weather conditions and on public holidays. They need to be on call at times.
