  • Underwriting Managers formulate and implement company's underwriting policy. They review insurance applications and supporting materials. They also evaluate risks involved and determine premiums extent of cover. Underwriting Managers may specialise in underwriting one type of insurance such as accident, fire and marine, and are designated accordingly. They also coordinate and supervise the work of subordinates.
