  • Herbal Tea Processing Technician
    A professional who operates sorting, drying, and other equipment to process edible non-tea plant materials (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits) into tea substitute products.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Sorting & Grading – Inspect, classify, and prepare raw materials.
    2. Primary Processing – Operate equipment (washing, blanching, slicing, drying) to produce initial herbal tea products.
    3. Secondary Processing – Use grinding, compacting, and packaging machines to create refined herbal tea products.
    4. Blending – Mix different varieties/grades of herbal teas for optimal flavor and function.
    5. Quality Control – Conduct quality inspections, packaging, and storage management.

The expertise to implement quality assurance checks at critical stages of production, monitor parameters like moisture content and blend consistency, ensure compliance with product safety regulations, and maintain accurate production records for traceability.
