Sales Managers

Descriptions & Duties

  • Sales managers are the management personnel for the sales of products or services in an enterprise. They are responsible for formulating sales goals and sales plans, and directing the sales of enterprise products or services. Sales managers are at the middle level of sales positions and report directly to the sales director.
    Main duties:
    1. Forecast the sales of products and formulate sales plans;
    2. Instruct the sales staff to implement the sales plan, supervise and manage the implementation of the sales plan;
    3. Manage the sales force expenses, and strictly implement the regulations on the use of expenses in accordance with the company's regulations;
    4. Formulate and organise the implementation of marketing programs;
    5. According to the sales goals and sales plans, explore new markets and potential customers, and ensure market share;
    6. Organise market research and analysis, analyse the market and competitors, and seize market opportunities, and respond to the market crises;
    7. Build up and coordinate customer relationships;
    8. Communicate with customer service and technical departments to achieve after-sales service goals;
    9. Build a sales team to enhance team cohesion and team spirit.
