  • InsurTech Managers are responsible for researching, identifying, and testing operation model of InsurTech for sustaining business growth.
    In addition to executing change management strategies to maximise adoption across businesses and functions, they create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and success of InsurTech. They also monitor latest trends in Insurtech, identify and evaluate business opportunities to drive for transformative initiatives.

Business analysis knowledge and skills

InsurTech Managers must be able to identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions to achieve business growth. They assist business leaders to undertake a gap analysis against current state for InsurTech, and develop action plans to ensure that any identified gaps are rectified to enable increased probability of success.

Change management knowledge and skills

InsurTech Managers have a strong understanding of change management principles, drive transformation projects to facilitate behavioural and mindset change for agencies, customers and staff. They involve designing, planning and implementing structured change management interventions. This includes driving new operation capabilities from idea generation, to opportunity sizing, fit and scalability assessment, concept testing and strategic planning.

Project management skills

InsurTech Managers build and maintain strong relationships across businesses and functions to enable and facilitate an agile way of work. They maintain good communications with staff related to transformation projects of InsurTech. Transformation projects include campaign design, strategic content development, planning and executing key campaigns.
