  • Managers - Agriculture & Fishery run establishments that produce crops, fish, livestock, and dairy products. They are also responsible for overseeing market activities and controlling production; planning and managing budgets; preparing financial and operational reports; conferring with buyers, farmers or independent owners, fishing skippers or owners of vessels and aquaculture farms; as well as planning and monitoring farm operations and fishing activities.

Work Environment

  • Managers - Agriculture & Fishery usually work outdoors and may spend some time in offices. They sometimes do strenuous physical work and long hours. As farm and fishing workload can be seasonal, the number of working hours may vary by seasons.
