Manufacturing Technicians

Descriptions & Duties

  • Manufacturing Technicians perform technical tasks, normally under the supervision of a manufacturing/industrial engineer, contributory to tooling, and the efficient and economical manufacturing of products through proper management of machinery and human resources. Their duties include setting up and operating production equipment; testing or adjusting equipment and monitoring production processes; testing finished products to ensure quality production; assisting engineers and conducting statistical production studies in order to optimize personnel, materials and machine usage; conducting environmental safety inspections in compliance with related regulations and requirements.
