Descriptions & Duties

  • Audit Partners review and evaluate clients' internal control systems and various items in financial statements. They monitor audit programmes and the work performed by audit teams. Audit Partners draft audit reports and management letters. They render assistance to partners on training, overall evaluation and counselling of staff members, allocate and co-ordinate assignments among audit teams.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • A recognised bachelor's degree in accountancy

Professional qualification

  • Certified Public Accountants (CPA) recognised by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, or equivalent

Experience

  • usually over 10 years of relevant supervisory experience is required

Other specific requirements

  • with multinational corporation experience is an advantage

Work Environment

  • Audit Partners work primarily in offices, sometimes conduct services at other offices, factories or warehouses for audit work or stock taking,. They generally work regular office hours. They may work additional hours to meet deadlines at the end of the fiscal year, during tax time or yearly accounting audits.
