General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • are required to possess a Qualified Kindergarten Teacher [QKT] qualification or equivalent

Professional qualification

  • usually have an Early Childhood Education Certificate qualification

Other specific requirements

  • Holder of a higher diploma in Education (Early Childhood Education) or a bachelor's degree of Education (Early Childhood Education) or postgraduate diploma in Education (Early Childhood Education) is preferable; Teaching experience in early elementary school or kindergarten is preferable.
