  • Social Services Organisation Managers plan, direct, supervise and coordinate social and community service programmes, such as income support, family assistance, children's services and other community services, usually provided by public bodies, charitable organisations and non-governmental organisations (NGO) . They are also responsible for handling related administrative tasks such as overseeing budget planning and expenditure, supervising staff, applying for social services funding, liaising with other welfare and health services providers and funding bodies, and advising government bodies on measures for improvement of services and facilities.
