Survey Interviewers

Descriptions & Duties

  • Survey Interviewers conduct interviews by telephone, mail, in person to collect data/ information. They use the data/ information collected to complete forms or questionnaires for market research surveys or census usages.
    They are responsible for contacting individuals to be interviewed by telephone, mail, or in person;
    explaining survey objectives and procedures to interviewees;
    following set procedures and questionnaires to collect data/ information from the customers/ public;
    interpreting survey questions to interviewees;
    recording the data/ information collected;
    completing forms/ questionnaire and maintaining paper or electronic records;
    reviewing data and information obtained from survey for completeness and accuracy.
