Aircraft Pilots must be able to operate and control aircraft to transport passengers or freight according to flight plans, regulations, and procedures.

Aircraft Pilots must be able to plan flights according to government and company regulations, using aeronautical charts and navigational instruments.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • A bachelor's degree in any subject, preferably in science

Professional qualification

  • A Hong Kong Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL)

Other specific requirements

  • Have good eyesight; must be physically fit and qualified for a valid Hong Kong Class 1 medical certificate
