Immigration Officers must be able to lead a team to provide efficient services. They may need to identify the person to be detained at the control point with high passenger traffic and limited time. They may also need to explain the immigration policy and procedures to visitors.
Academic qualification
A bachelor's degree; or a diploma/ higher diploma/ associate degree; or attained Level 3 or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE)
Other specific requirements
Level 1 in English & Chinese in Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) or Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE; pass a Physical Fitness Test; speak fluent Cantonese and English
