Tea Masters

Descriptions & Duties

  • Tea Masters are responsible for the entire tea programme, including sales, training and inventory. They prepare tea according to guests’ preferences and provide professional tea service to guests. In addition to providing tea training to the restaurant team, Tea Masters maintain a high cleanliness level in the restaurant and ensure the tableware are correctly placed.

Tea Masters should possess professional knowledge on various types of tea and food pairing with tea. Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Safety is also important to ensure public health.

General Requirements

Academic qualification

  • Completion of secondary school education

Professional qualification

  • Tea Master with “Occupational Qualification Certificate on Tea Master” (國家職業茶藝師考試資格證書) issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (人力資源及社會保障部) of the People’s Republic of China is preferable.

Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
