Bartenders

Descriptions & Duties

  • Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages directly or through waiters in food and beverage establishments. They need to check on supplies of wines and spirits and prepare daily supply requisition for Restaurant Manager's approval. Bartenders will greet customers, present menus, and introduce daily specials to customers. They will take beverage order from customers, prepare and serve drinks and food items such as snacks to customers and will take payments from customers. They may need to create different special drinks and follow cocktail recipes upon guests' requests. Also they have to clean glasses, utensils, bar equipment and work areas as well as to order necessary items.
